Education
Regis College
Dr. Malorie Gibson earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Regis College, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Her doctoral education emphasized advanced clinical practice, evidence-based leadership, and quality improvement in behavioral health care.
For her Scholarly Practice Project, Dr. Gibson conducted a mixed-methods study examining the barriers faced by parents in accessing early intervention services for children with developmental needs. Guided by the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) framework, her work integrated quantitative data from the Barriers to Care Questionnaire and qualitative parent interviews to identify systemic gaps and propose actionable strategies to improve service delivery. This project reflected her dedication to advancing equitable access to care for neurodiverse children and their families, aligning with her broader mission to bridge clinical excellence with compassionate advocacy in behavioral health.
